This plot is similar to the previous one, but is the scaled (displacement) travel-time graphic for the conterminous US that includes the EarthScope USArray Transportable Array, GSN, Caltech, Berkeley, UCSD, and selected ANSS stations. The first station is actually Palmer Station, Antarctica, and the last one is San Juan, Puerto Rico. Because this is somewhat selected by azimuth, the signals are more coherent than in the global image. Credits: Data from the IRIS/USGS Global Seismographic Network, EarthScope USArray, California Integrated Seismic Network, USGS Advanced National Seismic System, and distributed through the IRIS Data Management System. Seismic stations are operated by the US Geological Survey, the University of California, San Diego, Berkeley Seismographic Stations, and California Institute of Technology. Support for these networks is provided by the National Science Foundation and U.S. Geological Survey. Figure by Richard Aster, New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
