University students are participating in a national research project by identifying potential sites for Transportable Array seismometers. Read more about the recent training workshop in Nebraska and the siting in North Dakota.

This summer, the student teams will site 300 locations for seismometer installations in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota and North Dakota. The seismometers will be installed at the chosen sites in 2009.
